VATEIR/VATUK Event
« on: December 17, 2008, 08:59:19 pm »
Hi Guys,

I received the following e-mail inviting us along to an event between EIDW and EGGP.

"Hi Dan,

Sorry for such late notice, but I would like to invite SevernAir Virtual to
participate in this Sunday's joint VATeir/VATUK Airways Overload event which will
run from 1800Z to 2200Z between Dublin(EIDW) and Liverpool(EGGP). The aim of this
event is to get as much traffic as possible flying to/from both airports which will
be split between 2 airways - one for Westbound flights(L70) and one for Eastbound
flights(L975), which will make it very interesting and challenging for controllers!

Both airports will be providing full ATC for the course of the event, and there will
also be enroute ATC on both sides of the Irish Sea.

Below are the required routings to be used and links to charts & scenery:

Flying from DUBLIN(EIDW)
If you plan to fly from Dublin during the event you must use the following routing:

LIFFY L975 LYNAS

Flying from LIVERPOOL(EGGP)
If you plan to fly from Liverpool during the event you must use the following routing:

WAL L10 PENIL L70 BAGSO

Sounds like fun. The ideal flight for my Severnair ATR one thinks.  8)

Anyone else thinking of attending?
